To be kind

Like, you’d think it would be so basic to just be a decent human being. A quick smile, a “hey,” or even just asking how someone’s day is going — it’s literally not that deep. But for some reason, people are just so rude lately. It’s honestly exhausting how rare basic kindness feels now, even though it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. Apparently, for a lot of people, that’s still asking for too much.
