Getting my boyfriend to pick up his shoes

Literally every day I get home from work and immediately trip over my boyfriend’s shoes. I’ve tried being nice, I bought a shoe rack — everything. But he still just kicks them off right at the door. You’d think such a simple task wouldn’t be this hard, but here we are.
